Participants in the SDSU Mathematics REU Program, summer 2012
The department continues to host its NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates program. One of approximately 50 such programs nationwide, it brings the brightest undergraduate minds together for 8 weeks to make substantial progress on important mathematical problems. The 2012 program was no exception, producing three technical reports and an estimated 5 papers for publication in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.
